Regional incentive that supports MSME research and development projects, encouraging the strengthening of innovation capacities and the introduction of advanced technologies in the strategic sectors of S3 of Sardinia.

Facilitation type

The benefit is granted in the form of a non-repayable grant, in compliance with the maximum intensities provided for by art. 25 of Regulation (EU) n. 651/2014 (GBER). The contribution is calculated on the eligible costs of the project and varies according to the type of beneficiary and the type of research activity: Aid intensity

• Micro and Small Businesses
  • Industrial research: up to 80%
  • Experimental development: up to 60%
• Medium-sized Enterprises
  • Industrial research: up to 75%
  • Experimental development: up to 50%
• Research Organizations
  • Industrial research: up to 80%
  • Experimental development: up to 60%

• Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MPMI)
• In single form or in ATI with a research organization
• Companies active on the date of submission of the application

• Section C - Manufacturing Activities; Section
• Section E — Water supply: sewerage networks, waste management and sanitation activities;
• Section H - Transportation and storage with the exception of divisions or classes:
• 49 land transport and pipeline transport;
• 50 maritime and water transport;
• 51 air transport;
• 53.1 postal activities with universal service obligations;
• Section I - Accommodation and restaurant services activities;
• Section J - Information and communication services;
• Section N - Professional scientific and technical activities.

Eligible projects

• Projects by industrial research and experimental development
• Interventions aimed at product, process or technology innovation
• In line with the priority of the Smart Specialization Strategy (S3) regional

• Minimum project size: 150,000€
• Maximum project size: 700,000€

Financial endowment

• 15,000,000€
