Incentives for companies to improve levels of health and safety at work and for the purchase of innovative and sustainable machinery and equipment.
Purposes and objectives
The ISI 2025 Notice aims to encourage Sardinian companies to carry out projects aimed at the documented improvement of the health and safety conditions of workers compared to the pre-existing situation.
The call supports investments that reduce professional risks, improve business organization with a view to prevention and promote the adoption of innovative technological solutions, with particular attention to environmental sustainability and the reduction of emissions.
For the agricultural sector, the Notice also aims to improve the company's overall performance and sustainability, reducing production costs and increasing operator safety.
Financial endowment
The resources are allocated on a regional basis and divided by axes of financing.
The total budget for Region of Sardinia is defined in the table “ISI 2025 - Economic Resources” and may be redistributed based on the trend of admitted applications.
Beneficiaries
They can apply:
- companies, including individuals, registered with the Chamber of Commerce and operating in Sardinia;
- Third Sector entities (limited to specific types of intervention);
- micro and small agricultural enterprises for dedicated axes.
Every company can submit Just one question, for only one axis of financing and referring to a single production unit.
Funding axes and eligible interventions
Projects falling within the following axes are eligible for funding:
- Axle 1.1 — Reduction of technopathic risks
- Axle 1.2 — Adoption of organizational and social responsibility models (e.g. SGSL, MOG)
- Axle 2 — Reduction of accident risks
- Axle 3 — Remediation of materials containing asbestos
- Axle 4 — Projects for micro and small businesses operating in specific ATECO sectors
- Axle 5 — Projects for micro and small businesses in primary agricultural production
The interventions must refer to processes that are already active and involve a measurable improvement in health and safety conditions.
Eligible expenses
By way of example, the following are allowed:
- purchase of new machinery, plants and equipment;
- building works strictly functional to the intervention;
- specialist consultancy services;
- technical and professional expenses related to the project;
- additional interventions provided for by the technical annexes.
Expenses are not allowed for used goods or interventions that involve extensions of the production site.
Form and intensity of aid
The benefit is granted in the form of non-repayable contribution.
- Intensity of the contribution: until 65% of eligible expenses
- For micro and small agricultural enterprises: up to80%
Minimum contribution: €5,000
Maximum contribution: €130,000
Selection procedure
The procedure is Evaluation at the counter.
Applications must reach a minimum score threshold to be admitted and are funded according to the chronological order of submission (“click day”), within the limits of available resources.
Submission of the application
The official dates of the various phases will be published in February by INAIL on its institutional website.
Duration of projects
Projects must be completed by 12 months from the date the loan was granted, with the possibility of extension in the cases provided for in the Notice.
